On December 11, the 2018 Hong Kong Awards for Industries and Commerce Awards was grandly held in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Ms. Lin Zhengyuee, attended the ceremony and presented awards to the winners. Hybribio Limited, a subsidiary of Guangdong Hybribio Biotechnology Ltd. [Hybribio (Hong Kong)] was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Technological Achievement.

The Hong Kong Awards for Industry and Commerce was established in 2005 with the full support of the Hong Kong SAR Government. It is a combination of the Hong Kong Industry Awards established in 1989 and the Hong Kong Services Awards established in 1997, and was for awarding the outstanding performance and achievement Hong Kong enterprises achieved in improving the competitiveness of the company.

It is reported that the 2018 Hong Kong Awards for Industry and Commerce has seven award categories: product design award, equipment and machine design award, customer service award, creativity award, smart productivity award, technological achievement award and upgraded transformation award.

Hybribio (Hong Kong) was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Technological Achievement, in recognition of its high achievements in the development of intellectual property, technological innovation, commercialization, and promotion of scientific and technological culture. It fully demonstrated Hybribio's continuous pursuit of innovation and its commitment, and reflected that Hybribio’s R & D strength and the social benefits it created had been recognized by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
